AMS Power Probe 9500-VTR CME-55LC Track Mounted Rig CME 550 ATV (All Terrain Vehicle)
AMS Power Probe 9500-VTR
The 9500-VTR is powered by a liquid cooled 52 hp diesel engine. This probe includes a 205 ft-lb hydraulic hammer that operates at 2,200 beats per minute. This allows us to drive Direct Push Tooling to greater depths than many other probe units can. This Power Probe has also been equipped with a 3,400 ft-lb auger power head to install shallow groundwater monitoring wells. In addition, we have also added a special valve for CPT testing. This valve will allow Terra Drill to push our clients CPT equipment at the manufactures specified push rate. With this feature and the dual point anchoring system we are assured of utilizing the full 29,000 lb of down force that this machine will develop. And since this machine is mounted on rubber tracks with a bearing pressure of only 4 PSI, we can access areas that a truck mounted CPT cannot.

CME-55LC Track Mounted Rig
This low clearance drill has a unique feed and retract system and quick disconnect mast that makes it excellent for low clearance drilling jobs and is capable of accessing even the most difficult sites to get you the results you need. It allows us to work under service station canopies, bridges or other overhead restrictions. The overall working height with the mast disconnected is only 11 feet, 11 inches. It also has all the power and productivity of our full-sized CME-550. The remote controlled tracked carrier gives us the capability of accessing difficult terrains such as hills, sand, mud, and snow with the benefit of keeping our employees safe by not being on the rig to operate it. The rubber tracks will not damage most pavement or turf which allows us to use this rig in delicate situations where the client may have concerns regarding these issues. The CME-55LC can also be easily and quickly converted to direct-push capabilities.

CME 550 ATV (All-Terrain Vehicle)
This auger drilling rig allows drilling/probing on rough terrain, and is equiped with a 140lb auto hammer, angle hole drilling capability and can access areas that a truck mounted rig cannot with minimal disturbance to the area. This rig has the capability of being converted to direct-push using Geoprobe sampling tools.
